Authors Mary Quattlebaum and Joan Waites bring their animal tales to the Bookworms Club. Mary will read from her latest book for the Nat Geo series, Brother, Sister, You and Me. It opens with 10 kinds of animal siblings and segues naturally into young human brothers and sisters. Joan Waites reads from her new book, A Colorful Tail: Finding Monet at Giverny about a young red fox living in Monet's garden who admires the collage of colors in the landscape. This brightly illustrated tale is a delightful introduction to Claude Monet. Following the stories, our mini-Monets will work on an art project with the authors!
Young readers are invited to join our free Bookworms Club! We will explore a new theme each week with picture books, special guests and most often, authors.
Readers are welcome to join or participate any time. Members who attend 10 sessions receive a free book.
