Pozez Picks Author Talk with Jean Meltzer on Kissing Kosher (In-Person)
In partnership with A Woman’s Voice
Wednesday, September 13, 1pm-2:15pm
From the local author of The Matzah Ball comes a romantic comedy for fans of You’ve Got Mail, about the heirs to two rival Jewish bakeries in Brooklyn whose competitive history turns into long-lasting love.
The heir to a kosher baked-goods empire goes undercover at a family-owned Jewish bakery in order to steal their world-famous Pumpkin Spiced Babka recipe. But when garnering the secret recipe means drawing closer to the granddaughter working the counter—a woman struggling with intimacy issues due to chronic pelvic pain—both come to discover that the best recipe for love, intimacy and babka… is the one you bake yourself! A book sale and signing will take place after the presentation.
